Construction has begun at the top of a hill in Candia, NH, the
future building location for a timber frame home with
structural insulated panels (SIPs).
The three-bedroom,
two-and-a-half bath home will be situated on their spacious 55-acre lot
with beautiful views of the Pawtuckaway State Park and Bear Brook State
Park. We walked the property with John and Jennifer last week and
discussed design ideas, timber frame companies, and house orientation. A
fantastic project outline, along with sketches, was provided during our
meeting which will certainly expedite the timber frame design process.
The driveway, which
measures 2,200 feet, is already in place with clearing well underway. We
were amazed by the amount of clearing John and Jen have completed over
the last couple of years, especially after learning about their busy
schedules in the medical field. We look forward to working together in
the design of their new timber frame home!
At 2,630 square feet,
the timber frame home design includes a first floor Master bedroom
suite, with two additional bedrooms, a double office, and large loft on
the second floor.
