Mike and Diane contracted with Bonin Architects for the design of their new lakefront home on Crescent Lake in New Hampshire. We visited their site in Unity and know we will enjoy creating an energy efficient home design with this wonderful couple.
The couple have owned one of the most beautiful pieces of property on Crescent Lake for the last fifteen years. An existing cottage, built in 1945, will be replaced by their new green home which will move forward on the property to allow for better views and better positioning on the site.
Their property has nicely manicured grounds with annuals lining the property and multiple bird species visiting on a regular basis. With southeasterly, panoramic views of the lake and 190’ of waterfront, their new home will be used for family gatherings and as a vacation home where they will spend their summer months.
Currently we are working with M&W Soils Engineering in preparing a site and septic plan for the best placement of their new energy efficient home.

Preliminary sketches were sent to Mike and
Diane for their review for their new energy efficient home, and they
love the plan! Their wish list was captured in the plans and design
- everything they were looking for in an energy efficient home
design. With some minor changes and further site development the project
is well on track.
