Fall in New England

There’s something magical about autumn in New England. The mornings are cool and crisp, the afternoons glow in soft golden light, and the rolling hills start bursting into color. The season feels both peaceful and alive reminding us why we love living in this region.

From our offices in New London and Meredith, New Hampshire, and our new location in Woodstock, Vermont, we’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region. Designing homes that fit into these landscapes is at the heart of what we do. Each season brings its own character, and fall might just be the most captivating of all.

Design that Connects You to the Landscape

Our goal in every project is to create a meaningful connection between architecture and the land. Large expansive glass, natural materials like stone and wood, and thoughtfully placed outdoor spaces help bring the outside in. In the fall, that connection feels especially vivid. Brilliant foliage reflected in still water, sunlight filtered through colorful leaves, and quiet lakeside or mountain views all become part of daily life.

We love designing homes that allow people to fully experience that beauty—whether it’s a lakeside retreat in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, a mountain home in Vermont, or a year-round residence nestled among the trees.

Comfort for the Season

As the days grow shorter and temperatures dip, comfort becomes essential. Radiant floors, cozy gathering spaces, and natural textures create warmth inside, while the architecture itself embraces the calm of the season. Fireplaces become focal points for family moments, and large windows turn the view into ever-changing artwork.

Inspired by Every Season

Fall reminds us why designing for New England’s four seasons is so rewarding. Each home we create is meant to feel right—whether it’s covered in fresh snow, bathed in summer light, or surrounded by autumn color. It’s about balance, beauty, and belonging to a place that continues to inspire us year after year.
